How AskRIGHT is helping the Parish of St Luke’s to successfully raise money to build their permanent home in Flat Bush, a new and rapidly developing area of Auckland.
Flat Bush is a newly established parish, and one of the largest in the Catholic Diocese of Auckland at over 1,400 people participating regularly in the life of the parish.
With AskRIGHT’s assistance, St Luke’s Parish was delighted to celebrate two key milestones on Sunday the 18th of October:
- Launch of the campaign website: flatbushcatholicgiving.org
- Announcement of a Foundation Gift of $1 million towards the project, PLUS the same generous donors will match every dollar given by the Parish until April 2021 up to $150,000

This is an ambitious project for the new and growing Parish and the Catholic Diocese of Auckland, with the overall cost of constructing the Church and Community Facility estimated at $10.8 million. Fundraising is well underway and great progress has been made, leaving a balance of $2.95 million still to be raised.
